Introduction

TechnologyAdvice surveyed more than 200 buyers of business technology in the winter of 2022-2023 to better understand how they feel about the B2B tech purchase process, how they research vendors, and more. The respondents were asked to consider their most recent business technology purchase when responding.

Nearly 60 percent of the B2B tech buyers surveyed by TechnologyAdvice said they had a negative view of the purchase process. When asked about their most recent business technology purchase, they described it as time consuming (26 percent), complex (24 percent), or overwhelming (8 percent).
